propeller replacement

Hi

I will change the YSB8  by a Beta 14
The shaft is  now 3/4" diameter  with the original 2 bladed propeller, and associated P bracket

Beta specifications recommend a   12x9 3 bladed propeller

12" propellers  are generaly fitted for  a   7/8" shaft diameter, which is uncompatible with the P bracket !

I didn't find   12x9  or 12x10 3  bladed propeller
Do you where I can find one  using   3/4"  ( or  7/83  using a  bore reducer)

Thanks

Nick :
I tried to answer to  "wiring up an engine horameter"
I got an error   the message was very small, and the "png" file was 45Ko

When we reengined with a 15 hp Nanni fron the old 8 hp Yanmar we kept the same shaft and P bracket. We gave the shaft diameter and angle of the shaft end to Bruntons with the recomended propellor size and they made one with correct size.

We never had a problem although the clearance between the propellor and hull was less than recommend.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
We have just sourced a replacement 12 x 10 3 bladed propellor for Securus from "Steel Developments Propellors" in London. It's on a 3/4 diameter keyed shaft with a Yanmar1GM10.
