Happy new 300 owner

Hi everyone,
Happy owner of a nice trapper 300. The boat in question is named Patsy and is a mk1. She has been well looked after and raced regularly by her previous owner. I hope to have just as much good sailing on her as he did .

Congratulations Jimmy - a good choice! I don't recognise the boat name - where do you keep it?
I have had my MK1 300 Star Trapper for 36 years &  some 45k nm so let me know if you have any queries.

She is kept in Plymouth, on the tamar. There are a few others moored around me as well.

Hi Jimmy,
I currently have a trapper 300 on the Tamar which I bought last summer. Will be moving her to Falmouth when the weather calms. Spent the last couple of months bringing her back to a useable state. Replaced the stanchion bases that were letting in water

Hi Jimmy,

I have my Trapper 300, Zeta moored on Tamar as well, just up the bridge. Bought her last Sumer and sailed her from Falmouth. Lovely boat, we sail her almost every other week with my son, who is 16. He loves it. Great activity for a teenager.
