TRAPPER 501 1986 BILGE KEEL FOR SALE (ANDANTE)


Greetings all

We are looking to sell our boat in late September after we have had one last holiday on her .

Have owned her for 5 wonderful years ,starting from complete novice to now wanting something a little larger for longer trips .

She was in good condition when we got her and I have made many improvements on the way .

As an engineer I fully rebuilt the engine in 2018 ,all bearings pistons and liners (yanmar 2 gm).
Engine parts alone £1000
Gearbox stripped, serviced and rebuilt ,engine bay painted .

New raymarine chartplotter with fish finder

Diesel heater ,super toasty  ,wife loves it

Soundproof engine bay

New PSS prop shaft seal

New Propshaft

Kitchen area sanded and varnished ,stainless worktops

Led lighting  

Whale super sub bilge pump auto and manual

New leisure battery 2020

Jabsco toilet seals replaced 2019

Complete antifoul strip back in 2019 ,worst job in the world ,never again

Countless other  little jobs and improvements  along the way .

Sails were almost new when we bought her as was the sprayhood and sail covers

She has a genoa and boom bar ,but never used it .

Autohelm for the tiller

Fenders ,lines ,anchors and other little accoutrements  

Part of me does not want to sell ,one gets quite attached ,but we cant have two ,or can we
She comes with a huge amount of invoice history going back years.

Moored in Topsham near Exeter ,opposite trout's boatyard .
